We’ve become so dependent on our devices that when one breaks we feel like there is a part of us missing.
However, in recent times these devices have started to feel more of a curse that only serves to grant access to a network of unspeakable shit-bags. I used to be excited by new technology, but now I automatically look for the catch.
So, I think I’m going to go old-school in 2025. I’m going to double-down on the physical media, the CDs, blu-rays and books and try to spend as much time away from screens as I can.
I have a nice new pen, a nice empty journal. I also have this rather minimalist new blog to share the journey with, but I think it is time to put big tech back in its box.
